This is a small publication curated and produced by El Cocuy for the art research agency Connecting Cultures in Milan, Italy. It was presented at the Milan Triennale gallery as part of a festival that investigates the influence of art on the urban environment, Milano e Oltre. We examined northern Italian contemporary musical experiences that would regularly take place in unconventional spaces such as flats, houses, basements, etc. with the aim of understanding how they influenced the public perception of the neighbourhood. The publication is entirely printed on semi-transparent paper to convey an idea of hidden artistic activities yet accessible if one has the will to search around their city. Every contributor was asked to introduce their project with a drawing, followed by a collection of interviews and photographs as documentation. Copies available on demand (Italian only)!
